You mentioned something about "goodreads" what is that? Is it a website?

You’re not on Goodreads?! Beware, it’ll change your life.

It’s a website where you can catalogue books - rate them, review them, add them to bookshelves, make a list of books you want to read, make comments about the book you’re currently reading (and how far into it you are). It’s fantastic for keeping note of all the books that you think sound good, and that you may want to read sometime, but do not want to read/purchase/borrow them straight away.

It’s also a place to go for recommendations. I probably find out about the majority of books I want to read from Goodreads. But then again, I’m on there every single day. I head to Goodreads if I want to read more about a book. I like to read my Goodreads friends’ reviews, other people’s reviews, see what genre everyone’s tagged it as, see what books are similar, read the blurb. You can find me at goodreads.com/prettybooks. I’ve managed to catalogue every book I’ve read (that I can remember).

If you’re the sort of person who likes to make spreadsheets, lists, or just organise things, you’ll probably love it.
